India is, in fact, a mystical country, with its many forts, forests, and historical sites. It is believed that some sites are chased by ghosts or spirits. Bhangarh Fort ranks first on the list of the most haunted places in India and attracts many tourists every year. Since Bhangarh Fort is known for its rich history and paranormal incidents, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India for those who wish to hear paranormal activities.
Bhangarh Fort is a 17th-century fort in the state of Rajasthan. It was built by Man Singh (First) for his youngest son Madho Singh (First). Man Singh was one of the aisles of Akbar's court. Madho Singh called him Bhangarh after his grandfather Bhan Singh. It is one of the well-preserved forts.
Fort Bhangarh is located on the border with the Sariska Reserve in the Aravali mountain range in the Alwar district in Rajasthan. The nearest town is Gola Ka Baas. The fort is at the foot of the hills on sloping terrain. The fort is 235 kilometers from Delhi. The last 2 kilometers of the road that leads to the entrance door of the fort is an unpaved road.
Due to some tragic incidents and the widespread belief that the fort is haunted, it is the dawn to legally break between Bhangarh and the sunset. According to the locals, the spirits enter the place after sunset and, therefore, no one should enter the borders of Bhangarh during this period. According to a bulletin board created by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) at the entrance of the fort, "no one is allowed to enter the premises of the fort before sunrise and after sunset."
THERE ARE TWO LEGENDS RELATED TO THE HISTORY OF THE FORT CITY, WHICH IS CONSIDERED THE BEST LOCAL IN INDIA.
1. A sadhu named Baba Balau Nath lived in the area of the fort. He gave such an order that any house built within the boundaries of the fort should not be taller than his house, and if the shadow of such a house fell on his house, it would result in the destruction of the strong city. When a descendant prince raised the palace to a height that cast a shadow over Sadhu's house, it is said that he cursed the entire city. Subsequently, the entire city and the fort were destroyed due to the curse of the wise. The locals believe that the fort is still cursed.
2. There was a wizard named N.K. Sinhai, who was an expert in black magic. He fell in love with Princess Ratnavati of Bhangarh, who was very beautiful. While he was 18, he went shopping with his friends one day. The magician saw the princess buy Ittar (perfume) and replaced the perfume with a love potion to catch the princess. He offered the princess the potion so she could start to like it. However, the princess realized the magician's fraud and when she offered the potion bowl, she threw it on a large nearby stone. As a result, the stone began to roll towards the magician and crushed it. Before he died, he cursed that Bhangarh would soon be destroyed and that no one could live inside his enclosures. Subsequently, Bhangarh's fort was invaded by northern Mughals and the city was surrounded and sacked. All the people (around 10,000) in the fort, including the princess, were killed. Now people believe that the fort is tormented by the wizard's curse, and the wizard's ghost and princess still roam the fort.
BHANGARH FORT INCIDENTS -
After several incidents were reported from the city of the fort, the Indian government prevented tourists from entering the fort after dark. The locals believe that whoever goes to the fort at night never returns. One of these incidents is very popular because once a group of tourists corrupted the guardian of the fort to allow them to enter the fort at night. The guardian allowed them, but also warned them that at that time they would not have to enter the fort. The group of tourists ignored the warning and entered the fort. Since they couldn't find anything at first, they started joking and laughing. Everything was going well until they noticed a boy sitting alone in a room. The door had no doors and the windows of the door were roasted so that no one could enter the room through the windows. They were scared and you can guess what happened next.
